IAME Euro Series: Round 3 kicks off at Wackersdorf

Round 3 opened in Wackersdorf with drivers adapting to changing conditions. A packed Saturday of close racing now awaits.

The third round of the IAME Euro Series got underway this weekend at the ProKart Raceland circuit Wackersdorf in the rolling hills of Bavaria, Germany. Friday saw drivers facing everything from wet to drying conditions, pushing them to adapt quickly during practice, qualifying, and in the first X30 Senior heats. 

X30 Senior: 

The day kicked off Round 3 of the IAME Euro Series in Wackersdorf with mixed conditions keeping the X30 Senior field on their toes. X30 Senior saw a busy Friday with qualifying and three heats already on the board. Lars Ramaer led Group 1 in qualifying, Danny Carenini topped Group 2, and Maximiano Radeck Da Silva headed Group 3, with Joan Aluja Olesti and Ruben Moya close behind.

X30 Junior

The rain intensified for the X30 Junior adding to the excitement. Riley Cranham grabbed pole for Group 1 on a wet circuit, while Elvis Krasauskas took pole in Group 2. Didier Kreeft, Jesse Phillips and Will Green kept the pressure high and will be ones to watch as racing continues.

X30 Mini

George Clarke emerged fastest in his group of the X30 Minis to secure pole position for Group 1, while his teammate Harry Williams topped Group 2. Daniel Ferguson, Mayson Hibbert and Austin Newstead also looked strong on the wet track, promising close fights in Saturday’s heats. 

The day finished with the first round of qualifying heats for X30 Senior, with the early heat wins going to Ramaer, Ruben Moya, and Joan Aluja Olesti, while Rick Nadin and Freddie Lloyd stayed close in the mix, setting up an intense battle for Saturday.

With strong performances already on display and close gaps across all categories, Saturday’s heats promise to deliver even more thrilling wheel-to-wheel battles.
