Heat Battles Shape the Field As Superheat Grids Are Set In Franciacorta

Under clear skies in Franciacorta, the IAME Euro Series field tackled an intense day of Qualifying Heats, with packed grids and repeated trips to the track across all three categories. With so many heats on the schedule, there was action throughout the day, and every race carried weight as drivers fought to protect strong starting positions or recover lost ground. By the end of the programme, the Superheat grids were set after a demanding day in which consistency proved just as important as outright speed.

Sami Leads Mini After Strong Heat Run

Mini opened the story of the day, with Ilyas Sami emerging at the top of the standings after a commanding set of results. Two heat wins and a second-place score gave him the edge at the end of the Qualifying Heats, putting him in the strongest position heading into the Superheats.

Behind him, Chester Forkes and Bodhi Batch stayed firmly in contention with consistent runs across their races, while Charles Clough and Aaron Bordanova completed the top five after productive heat campaigns of their own. With several drivers managing to move forward and others staying close in points, the Mini category remains tightly packed going into the next stage.

Policand Perfect As Junior Field Delivers Intense Battles

The Junior category saw a standout performance from Teo Policand, who emerged on top of the Qualifying Heats with a flawless score, winning all his races and securing pole for Superheat 1.

Behind him, the fight remained incredibly tight. Aurelio Longhitano, who had set the benchmark in Qualifying Practice, backed it up with a strong run to secure pole for Superheat 2. George Clarke and Max Endacott completed the front rows after consistent performances throughout the heats, with Endacott notably climbing forward after starting further down the order.

With multiple drivers showing front-running pace and points margins remaining close, the Junior category is wide open heading into the next phase.

Lloyd Leads Senior Charge After Consistent Heat Campaign

The Senior category delivered close competition throughout the heats, with Freddie Lloyd emerging at the top of the standings thanks to a consistently strong set of results across all races.

Aaron Garcia secured pole for the second Superheat, closely followed in the standings by Mateo Rivals and Clement Outran, both of whom remained in the fight throughout the day with solid performances. Javier Broasca also stayed right in contention near the front, while Dan Allemann and Eloi Gonzalez kept the pressure on in an extremely competitive field.

With little separating the leading contenders, the Senior category is set up for a decisive run through the Superheats.

With points from the Qualifying Heats carrying forward, the Superheats will play a decisive role in shaping the Final grids across all categories.
